The Grand Tetons
The Grand Tetons
After visiting Canada and the gigantic mountain ranges there both Sam and I thought we’d never again be super impressed with a mountain range. But the Tetons held a magic and a picturesque fairytale beauty that captured our imaginations and stole our hearts. The difference was like a warlock had tried to fit as many big mountains as possible into one area in Canada, where as The Grand Tetons where made by a fairy godmother who had ideas of space, placement, and a bit of feng-shewa and designed the prettiest most picturesque range of perfectly sculpted mountains and placed them neatly by water sky and land.
The rangers gave us conflicting information on where the dogs could go. We stayed at Signal Mountain camp ground which gave us access to a beautiful view from a dock and beach and were told the dogs could go on the shoreline, but when we walked the shoreline the next day we were told by a different ranger that dogs were not allowed. So who knows. It was pretty, the weather was great, and then we left for south Wyoming for a couple days of dog friendly recreation in a national forest!
