Flaming Gorge Reservoir

Warmer weather, warmer color palette of muted greens oranges and reds, a sweet campground with a cover for cooking, bathrooms and free showers with a gorgeous view of the chimney stacked gorge and water below. The dogs got to run off leash on a deserted beach which they desperately needed, Sam’s delightful friend Dana came to visit and geeked out with Sam over geological details and historic info. We ate paleo peanut butter pancakes and watched the sunset with a dramatic flare of color.
