Hello and welcome to my shop! Here you will find a collection of all the one of a kind art projects that I create drawing inspiration from the world around me.

The Redwoods

Camped at: Jedidiah state and national redwoods park 3 nights

hiked: Walker Rd

scenic drives: Howland Hill Dr., Coastal Drive Loop

Pros:

Fucking HUGE, GORGOUS giant redwoods EVERYWHERE, super accessible to anyone at any level of adventuring, handycap(able) features, trails of different levels, lots of friendly rangers happy to assist and encourage. Bathrooms, paid showers that got hot eventually, available drinking water.

Cons:

As with most national & state parks, dogs can’t go on regular trails and must stick to roads. Ticks & poison oak are prevalent. Cell service spotty at best.

Lessons learned: the tallest redwood is constantly changing because when they get too tall they break off at the top and just keep growing out the sides. The Redwoods feel like a jungle with all the moisture and dense foliage. You have to season a brand new cast iron skillet in the fire for a full hour before you can cook something in it but when you do the chili will be delicious!
