Dancing Sleeping Storm is an acrylic multilayered painting, with fluid pour art tecniques combined with traditional painting techniques, and finishes. Hidden in the atmosphere under the first clear layer are pieces of gold leaf that is complemented by metallic gold swirls in the cloudy atmosphere. The intricate details are what make this piece so special, with small veins of white and blue swirling together, I could look at it all day and find new visual treats. This piece was inspired by aerial views of our planet Earth as we enter Fall and storms appear upon our horizons. Sometimes they are sleepy easy storms that pass in the night, other times they dance with a vengeance across our skies.
